A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable foods chilled while presenting them to customers under bright, even lighting. To use the PICO DEEP 1.42, the operator loads the stainless steel storage chamber through hinged back doors, arranging products on the white-coated steel shelves. The straight front glass pane can be slightly opened for quick access when needed. The electronic temperature controller is set to the desired range between +1 °C and +10 °C, and the digital display confirms the current temperature. LED lamps illuminate the interior, with options for white, confectionery or pink lighting to enhance the appearance of the displayed items. The showcase is plugged into a standard 230 V supply, and the built-in alarm monitors the condenser and fan for any blockages or failures, alerting staff before temperatures rise.

The body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a stainless steel worktop, providing a durable and easy-to-clean surface. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass sides, which are available in different colours to match the shop's decor. The base flashing on the service side allows the unit to sit flush against walls or other showcases, enabling flexible line configurations. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation fills the panels, reducing energy consumption while maintaining consistent cooling. The condenser outlet directs waste water to a container, preventing spills on the shop floor.

The 1500 mm width, 860 mm depth and 1220 mm height, plus a 10 mm tolerance, define the footprint needed on the shop floor, including space for ventilation and service access. Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel worktop and interior shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The hinged back doors allow full access to the storage chamber for thorough cleaning. The glass front and sides should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to maintain visibility. The condenser and fan should be checked periodically for dust accumulation, and the automatic defrost system eliminates the need for manual ice removal.
