Salad bar GASTROLINE 1.5 1500mm, temperature mode - +2/ +8 ºC
A refrigerated salad bar keeps fresh produce visible and chilled at the same time. The cooling unit circulates cold air through a ventilated system, maintaining an even temperature across every shelf and display area. This dynamic cooling prevents warm spots that could spoil leafy greens or delicate fruits, while the glass top and front panel let customers see the selection without opening the cabinet. The refrigeration cycle runs automatically, defrosting and evaporating condensate so the unit stays frost-free and ready for continuous service.
To use the salad bar, the operator loads the storage chamber through the hinged rear door, arranging produce on the adjustable shelf or in GN containers placed on the prepared frame. The granite worktop provides a stable surface for additional display or preparation. The electronic temperature regulator is set once to the desired range of 2 to 8 °C; the digital display shows the current reading. Daylight LED lighting in the upper cabin illuminates the contents, and an alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan fails.
The outer casing is black coated steel, while the front panel is wooden melamine with a choice of stainless-steel or mirror strips in various colours. The storage chamber is white coated steel, insulated with ecological polyurethane foam. A 30 mm granite worktop in granite grey finishes the unit, giving both durability and a neutral background for food presentation.
The 230 V power requirement matches a standard single-phase kitchen circuit, and the 0.326 kW rating keeps the electrical load low. The footprint of 1500 mm by 800 mm fits a typical counter run, while the height of 1250 mm plus 10 mm clearance allows the unit to slide under most worktop overhangs. The 386 litre volume provides ample space for bulk display and storage in a single cabinet.
Cleaning follows from the construction: the glass top and front panel wipe down with a damp cloth, the granite worktop resists stains and scratches, and the hinged rear door allows full access to the storage chamber for periodic deep cleaning. The automatic defrost and condenser evaporation reduce manual maintenance, though the condenser should be checked for dust build-up.
The GASTROLINE 1500 mm salad bar is available with different front-panel finishes to match kitchen décor. It is categorised under refrigerated display units in the IGLOO professional catering range.
