IGLOO SAMOS DEEP 2.50 Cold Showcase for Maximum Display

A ventilated cold showcase keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. A refrigeration unit circulates cold air through a concealed duct, ensuring every shelf receives the same cooling. The glass front allows customers to view products without opening the cabinet, reducing temperature fluctuations and energy use. This method preserves freshness longer than static cooling, making it essential for high-turnover grocery displays.

The SAMOS DEEP 2.50 is loaded from the rear through hinged stainless steel doors. The operator sets the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C on the electronic controller, which displays the current reading. Once stocked, the unit automatically defrosts, draining condensate into a container. Night blinds made of plexiglass slide down to cover the glass when the shop closes, cutting energy consumption and protecting goods overnight.

The body is constructed from white coated sheet metal with a service-side base flashing. The front base sheets and panel are also coated, available in a choice of colours. Insulation is ecological polyurethane foam, while the display and storage areas are stainless steel. A 20 mm grey granite worktop provides a durable surface, and anodised aluminium profiles in silver or gold frame the interior. The straight side-hung front glass panel opens without telescopic shock absorbers, simplifying access for cleaning. LED lighting in white, confectionery or pink illuminates the display, and bumpers in various colours protect the exterior.

A 230 V, 50 Hz power supply is required, drawing 7.5 kWh over 24 hours. This load suits a standard single-phase circuit found in most grocery stores. The 2580 mm length creates a substantial display area, while the 1230 mm height and depth fit within standard shop layouts. The weight of the unit means it is moved on castors or with a pallet truck, and the footprint allows placement against a wall or as a freestanding island.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel interior and granite worktop with a damp cloth. The glass front and plexiglass night blinds are cleaned with a non-abrasive solution to avoid scratches. The condenser outlet should be checked regularly to ensure the container is emptied, preventing overflow. The electronic controller's alarm alerts staff to fan failure or condenser blockage, allowing prompt maintenance.
