A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable goods chilled while presenting them to customers through a clear front panel. Gravity cooling circulates cold air from the top of the unit downwards, maintaining an even temperature without a fan. This method avoids drying out delicate items like cheese or cured meats, preserving their texture and appearance for longer than forced-air systems.

The operator loads the showcase by placing products on the stainless steel shelves or worktop. The thermostat is set within the +1 °C to +10 °C range, and automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up without manual intervention. Condensate evaporates automatically, eliminating the need to drain water. LED lighting illuminates the interior, with options for white, confectionery, or pink hues to enhance the visual appeal of displayed goods. Adjustable legs level the unit on uneven floors, and external corners allow multiple showcases to be joined into a continuous line.

The SANTIAGO 1.1S is constructed from stainless steel for the interior, worktop, and storage compartments, with aluminium profiles framing the exterior. High-quality foam insulation reduces energy consumption, while decorative ribbons in RAL colours and white powder-coated surfaces provide customisation. The refrigerant blend of R134 A and R290 balances cooling efficiency with environmental considerations.

A 230 V, 50 Hz power supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, suitable for most commercial kitchens. The 4.6 kWh/24h energy rating indicates the daily load on the electrical system, helping to plan kitchen power distribution. The 1040 mm width, 1190 mm depth, and 1225 mm height, plus a 10 mm tolerance, determine the floor space required and how the unit fits alongside counters or other equipment.

Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the LED lighting and automatic defrost system reduce maintenance tasks. The worktop is available in stainless steel or grey granite, and the adjustable legs simplify repositioning if the kitchen layout changes.
