A refrigerated display case keeps perishable food chilled while presenting it to customers through a curved front glass. The unit draws heat from the storage chamber and expels it outside, maintaining a steady temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally, avoiding the noise and vibration of a fan, which makes it quieter and simpler to maintain. The heat exchange takes place in an external remote aggregate, so the showcase itself stays compact and the kitchen remains cooler and less humid. Refrigerant R290, a hydrocarbon, is used for its low environmental impact and efficient heat transfer, helping the system reach the set temperature quickly and hold it with minimal energy.

The operator loads the storage chamber through hinged back doors, arranging meat, cheese or fish on the stainless-steel shelves. The curved front glass lifts telescopically for easy access during restocking, and a night blind of plexiglass slides down to cover the display when the shop closes. LED lamps inside the case illuminate the products; the colour can be chosen to enhance the appearance of confectionery, meat or general produce. An electronic temperature controller with a digital display lets the operator set and monitor the temperature, while automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up without manual intervention.

The body is constructed from coated white sheet metal, with a granite-grey worktop 20 mm thick for durability. The internal frame and aluminium profiles are anodised in silver or gold, and the front base and panel can be ordered in a custom colour. The unit arrives without side panels, allowing it to be joined seamlessly to other modules in the SANTIAGO series to create a continuous display line. A coloured bumper protects the front edge from trolleys and carts.

A voltage of 230 V at 50 Hz matches the standard single-phase supply found in British commercial kitchens and retail spaces. The footprint of 960 mm width, 1190 mm depth and 1225 mm height, plus a 10 mm tolerance, determines the floor space required and the clearance needed for the telescopic glass and night blind. The static cooling system and remote aggregate reduce the weight of the showcase itself, making it easier to position and secure.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel shelves and storage chamber with a mild detergent, while the curved glass can be cleaned with a glass cleaner that leaves no streaks. The night blind and LED lamps should be dusted regularly to maintain brightness. The electronic controller and automatic defrost system require no daily upkeep beyond checking the display for correct temperature readings.
