Hot showcase SANTIAGO 1040 mm. Temperature range +30/+90 ºC
A hot food display case keeps prepared dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers under controlled heat and lighting. The unit circulates warm air evenly across the water bath, preventing hot spots and maintaining a steady temperature throughout the cabinet. This method ensures food stays safe, moist and visually appealing for extended service periods without drying out or cooling below safe thresholds.
The operator loads gastronorm containers into the stainless-steel frame, fills the water bath to the marked level, and sets the temperature regulator between +30 °C and +90 °C. The telescopic windscreen lifts to allow front access, then closes to retain heat. Ceramic heaters and pastry lamps above the granite worktop illuminate the dishes while maintaining the set temperature. A water-level sensor alerts staff when refilling is needed, and adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors.
The water bath is made of acid-resistant stainless steel with mineral wool insulation, while the outer casing on the working side is white polymer-coated steel. Environmentally friendly polyurethane foam fills the remaining insulation gaps. The 20 mm grey granite table top provides a durable surface, and anodised aluminium profiles in silver or gold frame the display. Side panels are ABS plastic in a choice of colours, and a buffer strip in matching or contrasting colour protects the edges.
The temperature regulator controls the heating element, allowing precise adjustment within the +30 °C to +90 °C range. The 230 V, 50 Hz power supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, and the 18.0 kWh/24h consumption reflects the load required to maintain temperature over a full service day.
The 1040 mm width, 1190 mm depth and 1230 mm height footprint fits a standard worktop space, while the GN gastronorm frame accepts industry-standard containers. The modular design allows multiple units to be joined side by side, creating continuous display lines tailored to the kitchen layout.
Cleaning involves draining the water bath, wiping the stainless-steel interior and granite top with food-safe sanitiser, and removing side panels for access to the insulation and frame. The telescopic windscreen and anodised profiles can be detached for thorough cleaning, and the ABS panels wipe clean with a damp cloth.
The SANTIAGO 1040 mm hot showcase is available with optional silver or gold anodised profiles, a choice of side-panel and buffer colours, and modular expansion for larger installations.
