IGLOO SANTIAGO NZW Remote Cold Showcase for Fresh Display

A refrigerated display case keeps fresh meat, cheese, fish and prepared foods chilled while they are shown to customers. The unit circulates cold air across the curved front glass, forming an invisible barrier that holds the temperature inside without frosting the view. Because the cooling system is mounted remotely, the case itself runs quietly and leaves more space on the shop floor for stock and movement.

The operator loads the products onto the stainless-steel shelves behind the glass. An electronic regulator with a digital display sets the temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C, covering the safe range for perishable foods. Once the setting is confirmed, the system maintains the chosen level automatically, defrosting on a schedule that keeps the interior clear without manual intervention. At closing time a plexiglass night blind slides down to seal the glass, reducing energy use and protecting the stock.

The case stands on a white-coated steel base clad for easy cleaning. Inside, the storage chamber is stainless steel with a hinged rear door for restocking. The worktop is 20 mm granite in grey, giving a stable surface for labels or small equipment. Anodised aluminium profiles in silver or gold frame the glass and support the telescopic lifting mechanism that raises the curved front panel for deep cleaning. Optional LED lighting in white, pastry or meat-specific deep pink illuminates the display without adding heat. Bumpers in various colours protect the corners when the unit is moved or joined to other cases.

A footprint of 1380 mm by 1190 mm allows the showcase to fit standard shop layouts, while the 1225 mm height places the worktop at a comfortable working level. The 230 V, 50 Hz supply matches the single-phase circuits found in most British commercial kitchens. R290 refrigerant is used for its low environmental impact and efficient cooling performance.

Cleaning involves wiping the granite worktop, the stainless-steel interior and the glass with a mild detergent. The telescopic lifting system allows the front panel to be raised fully so the shelves and drip tray can be reached. The night blind is removed for washing and the LED strips are dusted without tools.

The SANTIAGO NZW Remote is supplied without side panels so it can be joined to other units in the series, creating continuous lines tailored to the room. Optional coloured front sheets and bumpers let the display match the shop's colour scheme.
