Cold showcase BALI 1940 mm. Temperature range +1ºC/+10ºC
A ventilated chilled showcase holds perishable food at a steady low temperature while presenting it through clear glass. Inside, a fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and keeping items fresh for hours. The refrigeration unit draws heat out of the cabinet and expels it at the rear, so the front stays cool and condensation-free. This dynamic cooling method is faster and more uniform than static cooling, making it standard for professional display where appearance and safety matter equally.
The operator loads the shelves with prepared dishes, pastries or chilled drinks, then sets the electronic controller to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. Once the showcase reaches the set point, the fan maintains the airflow and the automatic defrost cycle melts any ice build-up without manual intervention. At closing time, a roller blind covers the glass to reduce overnight heat gain and energy use.
The cabinet is built on a painted-steel base and front panel, with a top panel that houses LED lighting. Insulating glass is framed by plastic edges filled with eco-friendly polyurethane foam. Inside, steel shelves coated in a choice of colours can be adjusted in height and angle to suit different products. A second LED lamp inside the cabin can be set to white, confectionery or deep pink to highlight specific items. Price strips and a bumper at the front are also available in matching colours.
The 230 V, 50 Hz supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit found in most commercial kitchens. The 19.7 kWh per 24-hour energy rating indicates the load on the electrical system and helps plan kitchen power budgets. The 210 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or pallet jack, not lifted by hand. The 1940 mm width, 730 mm depth and 2020 mm height determine the floor space it occupies and how it fits alongside counters or other equipment.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass, shelves and price strips with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent streaks. The roller blind is removed and cleaned separately. The automatic defrost system eliminates the need to manually chip ice, but the condenser should be checked periodically for dust build-up to maintain cooling efficiency.
The BALI 1.9 is available in a range of colours for the steel panels, plastic edges, glass frame, LED lighting and interior shelves, all drawn from the BHS palette. The product sits in the refrigerated-display section of the professional catering catalogue.
