A ventilated cold showcase keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature through a continuous flow of cooled air. The refrigeration unit sits outside the cabinet, drawing heat from the interior and expelling it remotely. This arrangement removes noise and heat from the sales floor, leaving the display area free for products and customers. Cooled air circulates around every shelf, ensuring even temperatures across all levels without cold spots or warm zones.

The KING 1.3 AT REMOTE begins each cycle with the external refrigeration unit compressing refrigerant gas. The gas condenses, releasing heat outside, then expands through a mechanical valve inside the showcase, absorbing heat from the air. A fan pushes the cooled air across the shelves, while an electronic regulator monitors the temperature and adjusts the flow to hold the set point between +1 °C and +10 °C. When frost builds up on the evaporator, an automatic defrost cycle melts it, and a condensate pump removes the water, allowing the unit to run without manual intervention.

To load the showcase, the operator raises the night blind and places products on the six adjustable shelves. Each shelf can be set at different heights and angles to suit the items on display. The bottom shelf remains fixed, while the upper shelves hold price strips in a choice of colours. LED lighting in the top panel and inside the cabinet illuminates the goods, with options for white, pastry or pink tones to enhance presentation. Once loaded, the blind is lowered, and the digital display on the electronic regulator shows the current temperature, allowing staff to confirm the showcase is operating within the required range.

The cabinet is constructed with environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulation, reducing energy consumption while maintaining consistent cooling. The front lower panel and interior are made of coated steel, available in various colours to match shop interiors. The open top panel features organic glass in different colours, and the upper internal lighting uses daylight LEDs. A mechanical valve adapts to one of several refrigerants, including R404a, R507, R448 and R449, ensuring compatibility with existing refrigeration systems.

Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display, allowing precise setting and monitoring of the internal temperature. The automatic defrost and condensate pump eliminate the need for manual defrosting, while the night blind reduces energy loss when the shop is closed.

The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement means the showcase connects to a standard single-phase supply, suitable for most commercial premises. The footprint of 1230 mm wide, 770 mm deep and 2170 mm high fits into retail spaces where floor area is limited but vertical display is preferred. The weight, though not specified, is distributed to allow safe positioning on retail floors without additional reinforcement.

Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel interior and shelves with a damp cloth, while the LED lighting and organic glass panels require gentle cleaning to avoid scratches. The night blind should be rolled up and cleaned periodically to maintain smooth operation. The external refrigeration unit requires separate maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels and ensuring the condensate pump functions correctly.

The KING 1.3 AT REMOTE is designed for connection in a row with other showcases, allowing shops to create continuous chilled displays. The remote refrigeration system supports multiple cabinets from a single external unit, reducing installation complexity and energy use.

This model is categorised as a professional cold showcase for retail environments, combining display functionality with efficient refrigeration.
