Cold showcase KING 1920 mm. Temperature range +1ºC/+10ºC
A refrigerated display unit keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The KING 1.9 AT circulates cold air with internal fans, drawing heat away from food and circulating it over an evaporator coil hidden in the back wall. This dynamic cooling method prevents warm spots and keeps every shelf at the same temperature, so products at the front and back chill evenly without manual rotation.
The operator loads the shelves from the front, setting each row at the desired height and angle to suit the items on display. The lower base shelf holds heavier or bulk items, while the six adjustable shelves above can be tilted to improve visibility. Once loaded, the unit is plugged into a standard 230 V supply and switched on. The electronic controller displays the current temperature and allows the operator to set the desired range between +1 °C and +10 °C. A night roller blind can be pulled down to cover the display when the shop is closed, reducing energy use and protecting the contents.
The KING 1.9 AT is built with a coated steel exterior and interior, including insulated side panels 40 mm thick filled with ecological polyurethane foam. The front bottom panel and price stripes are available in different colours to match shop branding. The top advertising panel is backlit with LED lighting, and the interior lighting can be set to white, confectionery or meat tones to enhance product appearance. An automatic defrost cycle removes ice build-up from the evaporator, and a condensate pump collects melted water, allowing it to be drained up to 0.6 m above the unit without manual emptying. If the condenser becomes blocked or a fan fails, an alarm sounds to alert staff.
The 1920 mm width provides ample display space for a full product range, while the 230 V power requirement means it can be connected to a standard UK single-phase circuit. The 16.3 kWh per 24 hours energy consumption reflects the cooling load of a unit this size, balancing visibility and temperature control. Multiple showcases can be connected in a row to create a continuous display without gaps, using the same power supply and temperature settings.
Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel shelves and interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The night blind should be rolled up and cleaned separately. The condenser and fans should be checked periodically for dust build-up, and the condensate pump and drain line inspected to ensure proper water flow. The LED lighting does not require replacement bulbs, reducing maintenance over time.
The KING 1.9 AT is available with different exterior and interior colours, as well as lighting options to suit various shop themes. It is designed for plug-in installation, with the cooling aggregate mounted on the back of the unit for easy access and servicing.
