A remote-cooled chilled display case keeps perishable goods visible and safe without an on-board compressor. The refrigeration unit is installed elsewhere, reducing noise and heat in the sales area while maintaining a steady temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. Cool air is circulated by energy-saving EC fans, ensuring even cooling across every shelf and preventing hot spots that could spoil food. Automatic defrost cycles run out of trading hours, so the case stays clear and frost-free without manual intervention.

The operator loads the shelves with pre-chilled products, sets the electronic temperature regulator to the desired value on the digital display, and leaves the case to run. LED lighting in the upper interior illuminates the goods from above, making colours and textures stand out. Adjustable shelves can be repositioned to fit different package heights, and price sheets clip into place for clear pricing. When the store closes, night blinds or optional sliding or hinged doors roll or swing into place, sealing the case and cutting energy use.

The display area and outer casing are powder-coated for durability and easy cleaning. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation fills the walls, reducing heat transfer and keeping the interior stable. A siphoned condensate drain channels moisture away without manual emptying, and the mechanical expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow for consistent performance. The lower outlets of the cooling circuit connect to the remote unit, which can be positioned up to several metres away.
