A remote cold showcase keeps chilled products visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The refrigeration unit sits away from the display, connected by pipes that carry cooled refrigerant. This separation cuts noise and heat from the compressor, leaving the display area quiet and cool. A fan circulates air across the evaporator coil, drawing heat from the cabinet and lowering the temperature evenly across every shelf. The refrigerant absorbs the heat, flows back to the remote unit, releases the heat outside the kitchen, and returns chilled to repeat the cycle. The result is a clear, bright cabinet that holds food at a safe temperature without frost or condensation on the glass. The operator loads the shelves with chilled products, sets the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C, and starts the unit. The digital display shows the current temperature, while the automatic defrost cycle runs outside service hours to keep the evaporator clear. LED lighting illuminates the shelves from above, and energy-saving EC fans maintain airflow without adding heat. When the showcase is not in use, night blinds or doors can be closed to reduce energy consumption. The cabinet is built with a powder-coated outer casing and display area, both finished in a smooth, durable coating that resists scratches and corrosion. Adjustable shelves allow the operator to organise products by size, and the siphoned condensate drain collects moisture from defrosting, directing it away from the cabinet. The cooling circuit is fitted with a mechanical expansion valve, and the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam, which keeps the cold in and the heat out. Lower outlets for the cooling circuit connect to the remote refrigeration unit. The power rating of 0.0204 kW reflects the low energy draw of the display unit itself, as the main refrigeration load is handled by the remote compressor. The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches a standard single-phase supply, making it straightforward to install in most professional kitchens. The footprint of 1250 mm wide, 720 mm deep and 1990 mm high allows the showcase to fit into tight spaces while still offering a 70-litre display volume. Cleaning involves wiping the powder-coated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The adjustable shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condensate drain should be checked periodically to ensure it is clear. The upper LED strip casts a crisp, even glow across every shelf, ensuring dairy or deli items at the back are as visible as those at the front. This model is available with sliding doors, hinged doors or night blinds, allowing the operator to choose the best option for their workflow.
