A remote cold showcase keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The unit draws heat from the displayed items using a refrigeration circuit that circulates a coolant through evaporator coils behind the shelves. Fans move air across the coils, pulling warmth out of the cabinet and circulating chilled air evenly around the products. This dynamic cooling prevents warm spots and ensures every shelf stays within the set temperature range, preserving freshness without freezing the items on display. The operator loads the shelves with pre-chilled goods, then sets the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. Once plugged into a 230 V single-phase supply, the unit starts automatically; the defrost cycle runs out of service hours so the display remains uninterrupted. LED strips along the upper interior illuminate the shelves, highlighting the products while consuming minimal power. Adjustable shelf rows allow the height to be tailored to different package sizes, and the powder-coated display area resists scratches and fingerprints. The remote design places the condenser and compressor outside the cabinet, reducing noise and heat inside the shop. Coolant lines connect the display case to the remote unit through the lower outlets of the cooling circuit. A siphoned condensate drain collects melted frost and directs it away without manual intervention. The outer casing is also powder-coated for durability, and the entire cabinet is insulated with ecological polyurethane foam to minimise energy loss. The VARIANT 1.6 70 L model measures 1600 mm wide, 720 mm deep and 1990 mm high, fitting into a standard worktop run or island layout. Its footprint takes up minimal floor space while offering a large transparent display area that lets customers view products from the front without opening the case. The unit can be ordered with sliding doors, hinged doors or night blinds to protect the display when the shop is closed. Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display for precise setting and monitoring. Energy-saving EC fans reduce power consumption, and the mechanical expansion valve modulates coolant flow to maintain steady temperatures. The 0.0248 kW power rating reflects the low electrical load of the internal components, making the unit suitable for continuous operation on a standard kitchen circuit. Cleaning involves wiping the powder-coated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condensate drain should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear. The upper LED strip casts an even glow across every shelf, keeping packaged meats and dairy visible even under low store lighting.
