The refrigeration unit sits away from the display, connected by pipes that carry cooled refrigerant. This separation reduces noise and heat in the sales area, while the refrigerant circulates through a coil inside the case, drawing heat from the air. A fan moves the cooled air evenly across the shelves, ensuring every item stays within the set temperature range without cold spots or warm zones.

The operator loads the shelves with pre-chilled products, then sets the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. The showcase runs continuously, with the automatic defrost cycle activating outside trading hours to prevent ice build-up. Condensate drains through a siphoned outlet, avoiding manual emptying. LED lighting above the shelves illuminates the display without adding heat, while energy-saving EC fans reduce power consumption.

The case is built with a powder-coated outer casing and display area, resisting scratches and corrosion in a busy shop environment. Adjustable shelves allow the operator to organise products by size or category, and price sheets attach directly to the shelves for clear labelling.
