A refrigerated display case keeps perishable goods visible and chilled for retail sale by circulating cold air across every shelf. The refrigeration unit draws heat from the interior and expels it outside, maintaining a steady temperature range that slows bacterial growth while preserving texture and appearance. Dynamic cooling with energy-saving EC fans distributes the cold air evenly, preventing warm spots and ensuring every product is held at the same safe temperature without freezing. The system defrosts automatically during off-cycles, melting any ice that forms on the evaporator coils so the unit continues to run efficiently without manual intervention.

The operator loads the shelves with products, sets the desired temperature on the electronic regulator, and switches the unit on. The digital display shows the current temperature, allowing staff to monitor conditions without opening the doors. Adjustable shelves can be repositioned to accommodate different product heights, while LED lighting illuminates the display area from above, enhancing visibility without adding heat. When the showcase is not in use, night blinds or optional sliding or hinged doors can be closed to reduce energy consumption and protect the contents.

The construction features a powder-coated outer casing and display area for durability and easy cleaning. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation minimises heat transfer, while a siphoned condensate drain collects and removes moisture that forms during cooling. The lower outlets of the cooling circuit allow for remote installation of the refrigeration unit, freeing up space around the display case. A mechanical expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow, ensuring consistent performance across different ambient conditions.

The temperature range of +1 to +10 °C is suited for chilled goods such as dairy, deli items, and prepared foods, keeping them fresh without freezing. The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches standard UK electrical circuits, and the 0.0459 kW power rating indicates a low energy draw for continuous operation. The footprint of 2500 mm wide, 720 mm deep, and 2150 mm high allows the showcase to fit into retail spaces with limited floor area while providing ample display capacity.

Cleaning involves wiping the powder-coated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing price sheets for thorough access, and ensuring the condensate drain remains clear.
