IGLOO Showcase VARIO 1.25 110H Remote Cold Display Case

A remote-driven cold display case keeps chilled products visible and accessible while maintaining precise temperatures. The external refrigeration unit circulates refrigerant through the showcase, removing heat from the interior. A dynamic double air curtain forms a barrier across the open front, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. This method ensures consistent cooling without the need for glass doors, allowing customers to reach products directly while the unit remains energy-efficient and quiet in operation.

The operator positions the showcase in the desired location, connects the refrigerant lines to the external unit, and plugs the electrical supply into a 230 V single-phase circuit. Once powered, the electronic temperature regulator is set to one of the three available ranges: 3M1 for delicate items like dairy and prepared foods, 3M2 for general chilled goods, or 3H1 for slightly warmer displays such as fresh produce. The digital display shows the current temperature, while energy-saving fans circulate cooled air evenly across all shelves. LED overhead lighting, available in white pastry or pink tones, illuminates the products without adding heat, and the angle of the shelves can be adjusted to highlight specific items.

The showcase is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and a coated aluminium top profile, both available in various colours to match store aesthetics. The base plinth is made of stainless steel for durability, while the interior and display shelves are coated steel, also available in multiple colours. Six adjustable shelves, plus a fixed base shelf, allow for flexible product arrangement, and optional price sheets can be added for clear pricing. A mechanical expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow, and a siphoned condensate drain with a 40 mm connecting pipe directs moisture away from the unit.

The 1250 mm width and 2245 mm height provide ample display space without occupying excessive floor area, making it suitable for both small and large retail environments. The 0.081 kW power rating indicates a low electrical load, compatible with standard kitchen circuits. The temperature ranges of 3M1, 3M2, and 3H1 cover a broad spectrum of chilled and slightly warmer products, allowing the showcase to adapt to different categories of food retail.

Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the stainless steel base plinth can be polished to maintain its appearance. The adjustable shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condensate drain should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear. The remote-driven design eliminates the need for internal refrigeration components, simplifying maintenance and reducing noise within the display area.
