A remote cold display case keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining precise temperatures. The external refrigeration unit circulates cooled refrigerant through the showcase, removing heat from the interior. A double air curtain flows across the front opening, creating a barrier that minimises warm air infiltration and keeps the display area uniformly cold. This dynamic cooling system ensures consistent temperatures even when the case is frequently opened, preserving food safety and presentation quality without relying on internal compressors or condensers.

To operate the showcase, the external unit is connected and powered on. The electronic temperature regulator is set to the desired climate class—3M1 for delicate items like dairy, 3M2 for general chilled goods, or 3H1 for slightly warmer displays. Shelves are adjusted in height and angle to suit the products being showcased, with six display levels plus a base shelf providing ample space. LED overhead lighting illuminates the interior, with options for white pastry or pink tones to enhance product appearance. Condensate is automatically drained through a siphoned pipe, preventing water accumulation inside the case.

The construction combines coated steel and aluminium for durability and visual appeal. The front lower panel and interior shelves are made of coated steel, available in various colours to match store aesthetics. The front top panel is an aluminium profile, also offered in multiple colours, while the base plinth is stainless steel for easy cleaning. The innovative top mounting profile system allows for flexible installation, accommodating different store layouts without structural modifications.

Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display, allowing precise monitoring and adjustment of internal conditions. Energy-saving fans reduce power consumption while maintaining airflow, contributing to lower operating costs. The voltage requirement of 230 V at 50 Hz is standard for UK commercial kitchens, ensuring compatibility with existing electrical infrastructure.

The unit's footprint of 1250 mm width, 900 mm depth, and 2245 mm height provides a substantial display area while fitting within typical retail spaces. The low power rating of 0.081 kW reflects the efficiency of the remote cooling system, which shifts the heat load to an external unit rather than dissipating it on-site. The showcase is designed for continuous use, with materials chosen for resistance to corrosion and wear in high-traffic environments.

Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with mild detergents, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The stainless steel base plinth and siphoned condensate drain simplify maintenance, reducing the risk of water damage or bacterial growth. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the LED lighting system requires minimal upkeep due to its long lifespan.
