A remote cold display case keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining precise temperatures. Instead of an internal compressor, the refrigeration unit sits outside the cabinet, reducing heat and noise in the sales area. Cool air circulates through ducts to the display, driven by energy-saving fans that create a double air curtain at the front. This curtain minimises temperature loss when the case is opened, ensuring consistent cooling without frost build-up on the shelves.

The operator loads the case by placing products on the five adjustable shelves or the base shelf. Each shelf can be repositioned in height and angle to suit different items, from pastries to pre-packaged meals. The electronic temperature regulator, displayed on a digital panel, allows the user to select one of three preset ranges: 3M1 for delicate items like dairy, 3M2 for general chilled goods, or 3H1 for slightly warmer displays. Once set, the system maintains the chosen range automatically, with the external unit handling the refrigeration cycle.

The case is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and a coated aluminium top profile, both available in various colours to match retail branding. The base plinth is stainless steel, providing durability at floor level, while the interior and shelves are coated steel for easy cleaning. Modern LED overhead lighting illuminates the display, with options for white or pink tones to enhance the appearance of pastries or other products. A siphoned condensate drain with a 40 mm connecting pipe ensures moisture is removed without manual intervention.

The 230 V, 50 Hz electrical requirement means the case connects to a standard single-phase circuit, suitable for most retail environments. The 0.109 kW power rating reflects the energy efficiency of the remote system, as the external unit handles the bulk of the cooling load. The dimensions of 1875 mm wide, 1100 mm deep, and 2045 mm high allow the case to fit into larger retail layouts while providing 110 litres of display capacity. The remote design also simplifies maintenance, as the refrigeration components are accessible without disrupting the sales area.

Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel interior and shelves with a damp cloth, while the stainless steel plinth can be cleaned with standard kitchen sanitising solutions. The LED lighting and electronic controls require no regular upkeep beyond occasional dusting. The case is compatible with multiple refrigerants, including R448 A, R449 A, and R404 A, allowing flexibility in installation and servicing.
