A remote-driven cold showcase maintains chilled display temperatures without an integrated refrigeration unit, drawing cooling power from an external condenser instead. This separation keeps heat and noise away from the sales floor while allowing precise control over the internal climate. A double air curtain flows across the open front, creating a barrier that keeps warm air out and cold air in, reducing energy loss and preventing condensation on displayed items. The system circulates chilled air evenly across every shelf, ensuring consistent temperatures throughout the cabinet without hot or cold spots that could compromise food safety or presentation quality.

To operate the showcase, the external refrigeration unit is first connected and powered on. The digital temperature regulator is set to one of the three climate classes—3M1, 3M2 or 3H1—each defining a specific temperature range suitable for different types of chilled goods. Once the desired climate is selected, the showcase begins circulating cooled air through the double air curtain. Shelves are loaded with products, and the height and angle of each shelf can be adjusted to accommodate items of varying sizes and shapes. LED overhead lighting illuminates the display, with options for white or pink light to enhance the appearance of pastries or other goods. The electronic fans, which switch on and off as needed, maintain the set temperature while minimising energy consumption.

The showcase is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and a coated aluminium front top panel, both available in various colours to match store aesthetics. The base plinth is made of stainless steel for durability and ease of cleaning. Inside, both the interior and the six adjustable display shelves are coated steel, allowing for colour coordination and resistance to wear. The bottom shelf serves as a base for heavier items, while the remaining shelves can be repositioned to create an organised and visually appealing display. A siphoned condensate drain with a 40 mm connecting pipe ensures that moisture is efficiently removed, preventing water build-up inside the cabinet.

The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement means the showcase connects to a standard single-phase circuit, commonly available in commercial kitchens and retail spaces. The 0.109 kW power rating indicates a low electrical load, reducing operational costs while maintaining consistent cooling performance. The dimensions of 1875 mm wide, 1100 mm deep and 2245 mm high (±10 mm) provide a substantial display area without occupying excessive floor space, making it suitable for medium to large retail environments. The temperature ranges—3M1 (-1 to +5 °C), 3M2 (-1 to +7 °C) and 3H1 (+1 to +10 °C)—cover a broad spectrum of chilled products, from dairy and deli items to fresh produce and prepared foods.

Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The stainless steel base plinth can be cleaned with standard stainless steel cleaners to maintain its appearance. Shelves should be removed periodically for thorough cleaning, ensuring no debris accumulates in the tracks or beneath the display area. The condensate drain should be checked regularly to ensure it remains clear and free of blockages, preventing water from pooling inside the cabinet.

The showcase is available with optional price sheets in various colours and LED lighting options to customise the display further. As a remote-driven unit, it relies on an external refrigeration unit, which must be compatible with the specified refrigerants: R448 A, R449 A, R450 A, R407F, R404 A or R507.
