A remote cold showcase keeps chilled products visible and accessible while maintaining precise temperatures. The unit connects to an external refrigeration unit, which circulates cooled refrigerant through the showcase's evaporator coil. Fans draw warm air from the display area, pass it over the coil to remove heat, and return it as chilled air. A double air curtain forms a barrier across the open front, preventing warm room air from entering and reducing energy loss. This dynamic cooling system ensures even temperatures throughout the display, protecting perishable items without the need for a built-in compressor inside the showcase itself. To operate the showcase, the external refrigeration unit is first installed and connected to the showcase's cooling circuit. The showcase is then positioned in the desired location, ensuring the condensate drain pipe is routed to a suitable outlet. Shelves are adjusted to the required height and angle, and price sheets are inserted if used. The electronic temperature regulator is set to the desired range—either for chilled goods, slightly warmer items, or a combination—using the digital display. LED overhead lighting is switched on, with options for white or pink illumination to enhance product presentation. Once powered, the fans and cooling system start automatically, maintaining the set temperature while the double air curtain remains active. The showcase is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and a coated aluminium top panel, both available in various colours to match shop aesthetics. The base plinth is made of stainless steel for durability, while the interior and display shelves are coated steel, also customisable in colour. Five adjustable shelves allow flexible arrangement of products, with the option to change both height and angle for optimal visibility. A bottom base shelf provides additional storage or display space. The condensate drain includes a siphon and a 40 mm connecting pipe to prevent odours and ensure proper drainage. The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement means the showcase connects to a standard single-phase circuit, suitable for most commercial settings. The 0.109 kW power rating reflects the energy-efficient operation of the fans and lighting, reducing running costs. The temperature ranges—3M1 (-1 to +5 °C), 3M2 (-1 to +7 °C), and 3H1 (+1 to +10 °C)—cover a variety of chilled products, from dairy and deli items to fresh produce and prepared foods. The dimensions of 1875 mm wide, 900 mm deep, and 2045 mm high allow the showcase to fit into tight retail spaces while providing ample display capacity. The coated steel shelves and aluminium trim can be quickly wiped with a damp cloth to restore the display's crisp, hygienic shine between customer rushes. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condensate drain should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear. Dust that settles on the overhead LED strips is easily brushed away, keeping the pastry case brightly lit without disrupting service.
