A remote cold display case keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining safe temperatures through a continuous flow of cooled air. The external refrigeration unit circulates refrigerant to the evaporator inside the case, pulling heat from the interior and expelling it outside. A double air curtain at the front creates a barrier that minimises warm air entering when customers or staff reach in, reducing energy use and keeping food at the correct temperature without frost or condensation on the glass. The operator loads the five adjustable shelves and the base shelf with products, then sets the electronic temperature regulator to one of the three climate classes: 3M1 for delicate items like pastries, 3M2 for general chilled goods, or 3H1 for slightly warmer displays. The digital display shows the current temperature, and the energy-saving fans distribute the cooled air evenly across every shelf. LED overhead lighting, available in white or pink tones, illuminates the display without adding heat, making colours vivid and textures clear. The case is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and a coated aluminium top profile, both available in various colours to match shop décor. The base plinth is stainless steel, and the interior and shelves are coated steel, allowing the same colour scheme throughout. Shelves can be hung at different heights and tilted to present products at the best angle. A siphoned condensate drain with a 40 mm connecting pipe directs moisture away from the unit, preventing puddles and ice build-up. Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display, allowing precise setting and monitoring. The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement means the case plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, while the 0.137 kW power rating indicates a low electrical load suitable for continuous operation. The footprint of 2500 mm wide, 800 mm deep and 2045 mm high fits along shop counters or against walls, with the external unit placed separately to reduce noise and heat in the sales area. Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could damage the finish. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the condensate drain should be checked periodically to ensure it remains clear. The overhead LED strips cast an even, shadow-free glow across every shelf, letting bakery items or deli meats appear freshly prepared under the counter's glass.
