A remote-driven cold showcase maintains chilled air inside a glass-fronted cabinet while the refrigeration unit sits outside the sales area. The external compressor pumps refrigerant through concealed coils; the cooled air is then circulated by electronically switched fans that form a dynamic double air curtain across the front opening. This curtain keeps the interior temperature stable without frosting the glass, so customers see the products clearly while the energy load stays low.

The operator loads the shelves from the front, adjusting each shelf's height and angle to suit the items on display. The bottom base shelf and six adjustable shelves hold products at eye level, while LED overhead lighting—available in white pastry or pink—illuminates them evenly. An electronic temperature regulator with a digital display sets the desired range: 3M1 for delicate chilled goods, 3M2 for slightly warmer storage, or 3H1 for items that need only light cooling. Once set, the system maintains the chosen temperature automatically, with condensate draining through a siphoned pipe to prevent blockages.

The VARIO 2.50 90H REMOTE is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel, a coated aluminium front top profile, and a stainless-steel base plinth. Interior and exhibition shelves are also coated steel, with colour options available for all panels. The 2500 mm width, 900 mm depth, and 2245 mm height allow it to fit into most retail layouts, while the 0.137 kW power rating reflects the energy-saving design of the fans and refrigeration cycle.

Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display for precise setting and monitoring. The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches standard UK commercial circuits, and the refrigerant options—R448 A, R449 A, R450 A, R407F, R404 A, or R507—ensure compatibility with modern cooling systems.

Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth, while the stainless-steel plinth resists stains and scratches. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the siphoned condensate drain prevents water build-up inside the unit.

Variants include different colour options for the front panels, shelves, and LED lighting. The remote design means the refrigeration unit can be placed outside the sales area, reducing noise and heat in the shop.
