A remote-driven cold display case keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining precise temperatures. The external refrigeration unit circulates cooled air through the case, creating a steady flow that forms a double air curtain at the front. This curtain minimises warm air infiltration, ensuring consistent cooling without frost or condensation on the glass. The system relies on a mechanical expansion valve to regulate refrigerant flow, adapting to varying loads and ambient conditions without manual adjustment.

The operator arranges products on six adjustable shelves and a fixed base shelf, setting each shelf's height and angle to suit different items. LED overhead lighting illuminates the display, with options for white or pink tones to enhance the appearance of pastries or fresh produce. An electronic temperature regulator with a digital display allows the user to select one of three preset ranges: 3M1 for delicate items like dairy, 3M2 for general chilled goods, or 3H1 for slightly warmer displays such as bakery products. Once set, the system maintains the chosen temperature automatically, while energy-saving fans reduce power consumption during quieter periods.

The case is constructed with a coated steel front lower panel and an aluminium top profile, both available in various colours to match shop aesthetics. A stainless steel base plinth provides stability, while the interior and shelves are made of coated steel for durability. Condensate drains through a siphoned outlet with a 40 mm connecting pipe, preventing blockages and simplifying maintenance. The remote design means the refrigeration unit is mounted separately, reducing noise and heat within the display area.

The 230 V, 50 Hz electrical requirement suits standard UK commercial circuits, while the 0.177 kW power rating indicates a low load on the supply. The 3125 mm width, 1000 mm depth, and 2245 mm height allow the case to fit into most retail spaces, with a footprint that maximises display area without overwhelming the shop floor. Shelves adjust in height and angle, accommodating everything from tall bottles to flat trays, while the LED lighting ensures products remain the focal point.

Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel and aluminium surfaces with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. The siphoned condensate drain requires periodic checks to ensure it remains clear, while the remote refrigeration unit should be inspected by a technician to maintain efficiency. The case is designed for continuous use, with dynamic cooling and electronically controlled fans reducing the need for manual intervention.
