IGLOO Warm Showcase JAMAIKA 1400 mm for Confectionery Display

A warm showcase keeps confectionery at serving temperature without drying it out. Forced air circulation moves cooled air evenly across every shelf, preventing cold spots and maintaining consistent humidity. This method preserves the texture of cakes, pastries and cookies while keeping them ready for sale throughout the day. The showcase's glass front and adjustable shelves let customers see the products clearly, turning storage into display without opening the unit and losing temperature control.

The operator loads the three glass shelves with cakes, tarts or biscuits, then sets the electronic controller to the desired temperature between +5 °C and +15 °C. LED lighting above and on each shelf switches on automatically, illuminating the products in a warm confectionery tone. The curved front glass opens upwards for easy restocking, while the back sliding doors allow access from the kitchen side. Automatic defrost cycles run without manual intervention, and condensate evaporates on the condenser, eliminating drainage trays.

The JAMAIKA 1400 mm showcase is built with a wooden external housing and side panels, available in different colours to match kitchen decor. The internal frame is painted silver, gold or black, and the curved glass front is hinged for smooth opening. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation reduces energy loss, while the R290 refrigerant cools efficiently. A bottom wooden shelf provides additional storage or display space, and the glass side panels or combined dividers allow multiple units to be joined together.

Controls include an electronic temperature controller with a digital display, showing the current temperature at a glance. An alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan fails, preventing overheating. The 230 V, 50 Hz power supply plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 10.6 kWh over 24 hours of continuous operation. The 1400 mm width, 865 mm depth and 1370 mm height fit into most professional pastry sections, offering a large display area without occupying excessive floor space.

Cleaning involves wiping the glass shelves and interior frame with a damp cloth, while the wooden housing can be dusted or polished as needed. The automatic defrost and condensate evaporation systems reduce manual upkeep, though the condenser should be checked periodically for dust build-up. Different colour options for the wooden housing and internal frame allow customisation to match kitchen aesthetics.

The JAMAIKA range includes variants with hinged doors for smaller units, and glass side panels or combined dividers for connecting multiple showcases.
