Fat filter for all CDA and PK models, CDT 120, CDT 220
A fat filter captures airborne grease particles produced during frying, grilling and sautéing, preventing them from entering the extraction ductwork. The filter sits inside the canopy hood, where the rising hot air passes through a mesh or baffle system. As the air changes direction, the grease droplets collide with the metal surfaces and condense, draining into a collection tray below. This process keeps the ductwork cleaner, reduces fire risk and maintains airflow efficiency without frequent deep cleaning of the entire extraction system.
The operator slides the filter into the designated slot beneath the canopy, ensuring it locks into place. During service, the filter works continuously, removing grease from the air stream. After use, the filter is removed, washed and reinstalled, ready for the next session. No settings or adjustments are required; the filter operates passively while the extraction fan runs.
Constructed from stainless steel, the filter resists corrosion and withstands the high temperatures and moisture levels typical of commercial kitchens. The metal mesh or baffle design is standardised to fit specific canopy models, ensuring a secure and airtight seal.
The Inoxtrend FT107C fat filter is compatible with CDA 107, CDA 111, CDA 207, CDA 211, CDA 120, CDT 120, CDA 220, CDT 220, PKDA304, PKDA104, PKDA107 and PKDA111 extraction canopies. It is listed under extraction accessories in the catering equipment catalogue.
