Showcases for meat products HAWANA outside corner
A refrigerated corner showcase built to display chilled meat products while keeping them at safe holding temperatures. The unit circulates cold air around the cabinet, drawing heat out of the food and expelling it at the rear. In the gravity version, cool air sinks naturally from the evaporator coil at the top, creating a gentle downward flow that maintains even temperatures without fans. The forced-air version uses a small fan to push cold air across the shelves, achieving tighter control and a slightly lower range.
The operator loads the shelves through the curved front glass, which slides or lifts out of the way. A heater beneath the glass and worktop prevents condensation from forming on the surfaces that customers touch. The stainless steel worktop provides a hygienic preparation or serving area directly above the chilled compartment. Once the showcase is plugged in and the thermostat set, the refrigeration cycle runs automatically, holding the chosen temperature range without further adjustment.
The cabinet is constructed with a powder-coated steel front panel, ABS side panels and a chrome bumper that protects the base. A single electrical socket is fitted inside the cabinet for optional lighting or accessories. The refrigerant R290 is a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, used in a sealed system that requires no topping up.
Controls are limited to a thermostat that selects the desired temperature band: +2 to +8 °C for the gravity-cooled model or 0 to +6 °C for the forced-air model. The thermostat setting determines which processes the showcase can support; the higher range suits general meat display, while the lower range allows short-term storage of more sensitive products.
The 180 kg weight means the unit must be moved with a pallet truck or similar equipment, and the 1500 mm width fits into a corner space without projecting into the aisle. The 1150 mm depth leaves room for shelving inside while keeping the overall footprint compact.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel worktop and chrome bumper with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and removing the curved glass panel periodically to clean both sides. The ABS side panels can be wiped down but should not be exposed to abrasive cleaners. The refrigeration system itself requires no routine maintenance beyond checking that the condenser coil at the rear is free of dust.
Two versions are available: gravity-cooled (G) and forced-air (W). The showcase is categorised as a refrigerated display unit for meat products, positioned in the corner-display section of the catalogue.
