JUKA Lumina MINI 680 mm confectionery showcase

A refrigerated display case built to keep delicate confections at serving temperature while they draw the eye. The Lumina MINI uses a low-charge R290 refrigeration circuit that circulates cool air gently across every shelf, preventing hot spots and surface drying. Because the refrigerant has minimal global-warming potential, the unit meets current environmental standards without sacrificing performance.

The process begins when the compressor starts and the refrigerant absorbs heat from the interior. This heat is expelled at the rear condenser, leaving the air inside chilled. A fan then distributes the cooled air evenly, so each pastry, mousse or chocolate creation stays within the narrow 6–12 °C band that keeps textures firm and flavours bright. The operator loads the shelves, sets the desired temperature on the digital controller, and the system maintains it automatically.

Operation is straightforward: confections are placed directly on the adjustable glass shelves, which can be repositioned to suit different heights. The stainless-steel exposition tray beneath collects any drips or crumbs, keeping the interior tidy. A full-length glass front and internal LED lighting ensure the products remain the focus, while the solid chipboard casing and stainless-steel frame provide a stable, professional finish.

The 680 mm width fits neatly on most worktops or counters, while the 140 kg weight means it can be moved with a standard kitchen trolley but will not shift accidentally during service. The temperature range of 6–12 °C is tailored for items that need gentle cooling without freezing, such as cream-filled pastries, ganache or tempered chocolate.

Cleaning follows from the materials: the glass shelves lift out for washing, the stainless-steel interior wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the exterior casing can be dusted or wiped with a mild detergent. The R290 refrigerant requires no routine maintenance beyond keeping the condenser coils free of dust.

Two versions are available: the refrigerated CH model maintains the 6–12 °C range, while the neutral NE model provides the same display features without refrigeration for ambient-temperature products.
