Showcases for meat products MODENA 110 1580 mm
A refrigerated showcase built to display meat products while keeping them at safe serving temperatures. The unit relies on a refrigeration cycle that circulates R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant chosen for its low environmental impact and efficient heat absorption. Inside the cabinet, an evaporator coil pulls heat from the air, lowering the temperature to the set range. Ventilated models use a fan to push cold air across the chamber, maintaining tighter control and slightly lower temperatures for faster-chilling items.
Loading the showcase begins with the straight front glass, which hinges either vertically or at the bottom for easy access. Meat products are placed on the stainless steel worktop or inside the stainless steel storage chamber beneath. The operator selects the desired temperature band—either +2 to +8 °C for gravity cooling or 0 to +6 °C for ventilated cooling—using the internal control. A socket is provided for plugging in the unit, and an integrated heater under the worktop and front glass prevents condensation, keeping the display clear and professional.
The cabinet measures 1580 mm wide, 1100 mm deep and 1250 mm high, giving a generous footprint for larger cuts and bulk displays. A grey bumper runs along the base, protecting the powder-coated steel front and ABS sides from knocks. The 200 kg weight means the unit is floor-standing and will need two people or a trolley to move it into position. Once in place, the stainless steel surfaces resist corrosion and staining, while the evaporator's built-in heater ensures the coil stays free of frost without manual defrosting.
Cleaning follows the materials used: the stainless steel worktop and storage chamber wipe down with standard kitchen sanitiser, while the ABS sides and powder-coated steel front can be cleaned with mild detergent. The straight front glass should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to avoid scratching. Two versions are available: gravity-cooled for a quieter, more natural chill, or ventilated for slightly lower temperatures and faster recovery after the door is opened.
The showcase is categorised under refrigerated display units for meat products, fitting professional kitchens and butcher shops that need reliable, visible storage at safe serving temperatures.
