JUKA RAFAELLO 650 mm Confectionery Display Cabinet

This confectionery display cabinet maintains exact temperatures for delicate pastries, chocolates or warm desserts while showcasing them through full-height glass. Conditioned air circulates behind the shelves, distributing cooling or warming evenly without drying or condensation. A fan moves air across an evaporator or heating element, then directs it gently across the shelves to eliminate hot or cold spots.

The operator adjusts shelf height to accommodate different products, loading from the front. Sliding or hinged rear doors enable restocking without disrupting the display. Once set, the system automatically maintains the chosen temperature, cycling the fan and compressor or heater as required. LED lighting brightens the contents from above, enhancing colours and textures without generating additional heat.

The structure features a powder-coated steel frame, a wooden casing for aesthetic warmth, and double-glazed glass on the sides, front and top. The front glass is held in place by a discreet string, allowing easy removal for cleaning. Shelves are adjustable glass panels resting on metal supports, simple to reposition or take out. The refrigerant used is R290, selected for its minimal environmental impact.

A thermostat controls the temperature within the specified range. The hot version ranges from +40 to +90 °C, keeping baked goods at serving temperature. A neutral version provides ambient display without active temperature control.

The 0.9 kW power rating reflects the electrical load, requiring a dedicated outlet in a professional kitchen. The 650 mm width suits standard worktop depths, while the 860 mm height and 1370 mm length create a compact yet spacious display area. Weighing 130 kg, the unit remains stable on the floor and can be relocated with a trolley or pallet jack.

Cleaning involves removing the front glass and shelves, wiping the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying before reassembly. The wooden casing should be dusted regularly to preserve its appearance. The forced-air system includes a washable filter that requires monthly checks and cleaning as needed.

Three versions are available: refrigerated (CH), hot (GR) and neutral (NE). All share the same dimensions and construction but differ in temperature control and lighting. The hot version excludes LED lighting to prevent heat build-up, while the refrigerated and neutral versions include it for optimal display.
