Showcases for meat products HAWANA inside corner
A refrigerated inside-corner showcase keeps meat products chilled while presenting them to customers through a curved front glass. The unit draws heat from the displayed items and expels it at the rear, maintaining a steady low temperature that slows spoilage without freezing the product. Gravity-cooled models rely on natural convection: cold air sinks from the evaporator at the top, displacing warmer air that rises to be cooled again. Forced-cooling versions use a fan to push the cold air, giving tighter temperature control and faster recovery after the door is opened or new stock is loaded. The operator loads the meat onto the stainless-steel shelves behind the curved glass. A socket under the worktop powers the internal lighting, while heaters beneath the glass and worktop prevent condensation from forming on the surfaces customers touch. The temperature is set once, according to the chosen cooling method: gravity for a slightly higher range or forced for a lower, more precise one. The unit then runs continuously, cycling the compressor and fan as needed to hold the set point. The curved front is toughened glass, framed by a chrome bumper that protects both the glass and passing customers. The front panel is powder-coated steel, while the sides are ABS plastic. A stainless-steel worktop provides a hygienic surface for slicing or portioning at the point of sale. R290 circulates through the curved glass and stainless-steel worktop, keeping every cut of meat chilled without frosting the chrome bumper. Controls are minimal: a thermostat selects the temperature range, and an internal light switch turns the display lighting on or off. The socket under the worktop supplies power to the lighting circuit. A footprint of 1500 mm by 1150 mm fits the unit into an inside corner, saving floor space in the shop. The 180 kg weight means the showcase is moved on a trolley or pallet jack rather than lifted by hand. The temperature ranges of +2 to +8 °C for gravity cooling and 0 to +6 °C for forced cooling determine which meat products can be displayed: the lower range keeps raw poultry and minced meat safely chilled, while the higher range suits whole cuts and cured items. Powder-coated steel and ABS sides wipe clean with a damp cloth, while the stainless-steel worktop resists meat juices and sanitising sprays. The curved glass is wiped with a mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch. The chrome bumper and powder-coated steel front are cleaned with a damp cloth; solvents are avoided to prevent damage to the finish. ABS sides are wiped down with a non-abrasive cleaner. The stainless-steel worktop is sanitised with a food-safe disinfectant after each use. The evaporator coil and fan, where accessible, are brushed or vacuumed periodically to remove dust that would reduce cooling efficiency. Two versions are available: gravity-cooled (G) and forced-cooled (W). The catalogue places the HAWANA NW in the refrigerated-display section, under inside-corner units for meat products.
