A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The unit circulates cooled air behind the shelves and across the interior, drawing heat away from the products and expelling it through a condenser at the rear. This continuous cycle ensures that items remain within the set temperature range without freezing, making it suitable for dairy, deli meats, salads and pre-packaged meals that must stay fresh but not solid.
The operator loads the shelves from the front, adjusting the height of each row to fit different package sizes. Two sliding doors open to allow restocking or customer access, while night blinds roll down after hours to reduce energy use and protect the contents from ambient heat. LED lighting along the top and vertical sides illuminates the products evenly, highlighting colours and textures without adding extra heat.
The MINI VARNA 160 DP is built from powder-coated steel, forming a rigid frame that resists scratches and corrosion. The exterior panels are finished in the same coating, while the interior surfaces are mirror-polished stainless steel for easy cleaning and reflection of the LED lighting. Five rows of adjustable wire shelves provide flexible storage, and the double-glazed front with serigraphy reduces glare while keeping the interior visible.
Controls are minimal: a thermostat maintains the temperature between +4 °C and +10 °C, and the lighting switches on automatically when the doors are opened or can be set to a timer. The refrigerant R290 is a hydrocarbon with low global warming potential, chosen for its efficiency in small to medium refrigeration systems.
The 1600 mm width and 2000 mm height create a substantial footprint that fits against a wall or island counter, while the 320 kg weight requires a solid floor and may need a trolley for initial positioning. The 2.9 m² useful surface allows for organised display of multiple product lines, and the night blinds help to lower running costs during closed periods.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior mirror steel surfaces with a mild detergent, removing the wire shelves to wash them separately, and vacuuming the condenser coils at the rear to maintain airflow. The powder-coated exterior can be cleaned with a damp cloth and non-abrasive cleaner.
The MINI VARNA 160 DP is a single model without variants, designed for integration into professional catering environments where both display and refrigeration are required.
