JUKA TOSTI CH 900 mm Cold Showcase for Chilled Display

A cold showcase keeps prepared food and drinks chilled while presenting them to customers through clear glass panels. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils at the back or base, pulling heat out of the interior and releasing it outside. Forced cooling with a fan spreads the cold air evenly across every shelf, so every item stays at the same temperature without manual rotation. The double-glass sides insulate the cabinet, reducing condensation and keeping the outside surface cool to the touch. LED lighting inside illuminates the contents without adding heat, so the display stays bright and the temperature remains stable.

To use the showcase, plug it into a dedicated circuit and allow it to cool to the set temperature before loading. Place items on the three adjustable shelves, organising them so air can circulate freely around each one. The epos ticket strips clip onto the front edge of each shelf, holding price labels or product information without blocking the view. The condenser is accessed from the front panel, so maintenance can be carried out without moving the unit away from the wall or counter.

The cabinet is built with double-glass sides framed in aluminium, giving a clear view from both sides while keeping the interior sealed. The three shelves are adjustable in height, allowing different sizes of containers or trays to be accommodated. LED lights run along the top interior, casting an even glow across the display without generating heat that would raise the temperature.

The temperature range of 0 to +6 °C keeps chilled items safe for service while allowing them to be seen and reached easily. A footprint of 900 mm by 740 mm fits into a standard worktop run or island counter, and the 1395 mm height allows customers to view items without bending. The 170 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or with two people, and once in place it remains stable on level flooring.

Cleaning involves wiping the glass and aluminium frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and removing the shelves to wash them separately. The condenser coils should be vacuumed or brushed regularly to maintain airflow, and the front access panel makes this straightforward without needing to pull the showcase away from the wall. The refrigerant R290 is used, which is a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
