JUKA Varna 90/80 refrigerated display showcase

A refrigerated display showcase keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a set temperature range. A compressor circulates refrigerant through coils, removing heat from the interior and expelling it outside. The cooled air is then distributed evenly across the shelves, ensuring consistent temperatures throughout the unit. This method allows perishable items to remain fresh without freezing, making it suitable for dairy, deli meats, prepared salads and chilled desserts.

The Varna 90/80 is loaded from the front. The operator slides the night blind up, arranges products on the five adjustable shelves, then lowers the blind to close the unit. The top and vertical LED lighting illuminate the contents, while the serigraphed double-glass sides reduce glare and direct light inward. Temperature is set once and maintained automatically within the +4 to +10 °C range.

The cabinet is constructed from powder-coated steel, with exterior panels in the same finish and interior surfaces in mirror-finish steel. Five rows of shelves adjust in height to accommodate different product sizes. A night blind, stored above the display area when not in use, covers the glass front to reduce energy consumption during closing hours.

The 900 mm width and 2000 mm height provide a footprint that fits standard worktop depths while maximising vertical display space. The 2.3 m² useful surface allows for organised presentation of multiple product categories. The 220 kg weight requires a stable floor and at least two people to move the unit safely.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior mirror steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the finish. The powder-coated exterior is cleaned similarly. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the LED lighting is wiped with a dry cloth to prevent dust build-up. The night blind should be cleaned regularly to maintain visibility when in use.
