KASTEL FK 50 ESI M Professional Dishwasher for Glasses & Dishes

Designed for demanding commercial environments, the KASTEL FK 50 ESI M handles glasses, plates, cutlery and GN 1/1 containers efficiently. Its 500 × 500 mm basket and 340 mm maximum washing height accommodate standard catering racks and taller glassware, allowing organised loading and quick unloading onto work surfaces.

The dishwasher uses electric heating and stainless-steel spray arms to circulate water above and below the load. Fresh water enters through a supplied hose, while waste is expelled via a drain hose. Water reaches temperatures that remove grease and eliminate bacteria, with detergent and rinse aid dispensed automatically. A Thermostop feature pauses the cycle until the correct temperature is achieved, maintaining consistent performance during peak service.

An electronic control panel with an LCD display offers four cycle options: 90, 120 or 180 seconds, or a continuous mode. Once the door is closed, the machine fills, heats the water, completes the selected cycle, drains, and performs a hot rinse before draining again. At the end of the day, a self-cleaning function flushes the wash tank and pump, reducing manual maintenance.

The stainless-steel cabinet features a partially double-skinned design to minimise noise and heat loss. Inside, the preformed wash tank simplifies cleaning. A magnetic microswitch stops operation if the door opens, and a non-return valve prevents contaminated water from re-entering the system. The unit operates on a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 3.25 kW.

With a 572 × 633 mm footprint, the dishwasher fits beneath most worktops. Its 53 kg weight allows two staff members to reposition it without equipment. The 500 × 500 mm basket matches standard catering racks, while the 340 mm washing height suits tall glasses and GN 1/1 containers. Included accessories—two 40 × 40 cm glass racks, a small cutlery basket, and an insert for 12 saucers—help organise smaller items during each cycle.

Maintenance is straightforward, thanks to the self-cleaning cycle and smooth, preformed tank. Stainless-steel components resist corrosion, and automatic dispensers remove the need for manual detergent dosing. An optional water softener can be added to combat limescale in hard-water areas.
