LF Adjustable Stainless Steel Foot for Tubular Frames

An adjustable stainless steel foot provides a stable, level base for catering equipment built on tubular frames. The threaded stem screws into a tapped hole in the frame, allowing the operator to raise or lower the foot until the unit stands evenly on an uneven floor. Once set, the foot locks in place with a nut, preventing the equipment from rocking or shifting during use.

To install, the operator first positions the equipment where it will be used. The foot is then screwed into the frame until it touches the floor. Using a spirit level on the worktop, the operator turns each foot in turn, adjusting the height until the unit is perfectly level. The locking nut is tightened against the frame to secure the setting. This process is repeated whenever the equipment is moved or the floor level changes.

The foot is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion in humid kitchen environments. Its 30 mm diameter base spreads the load evenly, reducing the risk of indenting or damaging the floor surface. The foot is designed to fit 40x40 mm tubular frames, a standard size for professional catering equipment such as worktables, shelving units and mobile trolleys.

The threaded stem allows for fine adjustment, accommodating minor variations in floor level without the need for additional shims or packing. The locking nut ensures the setting remains stable, even under the vibration and movement common in a busy kitchen.

Cleaning is straightforward: the foot can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills. For more thorough cleaning, the foot can be unscrewed from the frame and cleaned separately, though this will require re-levelling the equipment afterwards.

This adjustable foot is a direct replacement for existing feet on LF equipment and is compatible with other brands that use 40x40 mm tubular frames.
