An analogue thermometer provides instant, mechanical temperature readings without power or batteries. A metal coil inside the dial expands and contracts as the probe senses heat, moving the needle across the scale. This method gives continuous, reliable feedback for liquids, steam or air inside ovens, bain-maries, hot cupboards and other catering appliances.
The operator inserts the 125 mm probe into the medium, waits a few seconds for the coil to stabilise, then reads the temperature directly from the 45 mm dial. No buttons, no settings, no delay: the needle shows the current value at a glance.
The dial is housed in a sealed case, while the probe is a single length of stainless steel. Both parts are designed for frequent use in humid, greasy environments without corrosion or fogging.
The 0 to 100 °C scale covers the full range of hot-holding, proofing and gentle cooking processes. The 45 mm diameter ensures the dial is easily read from a distance, while the 125 mm probe reaches deep into pots, trays or cabinets without the operator needing to open doors or lift lids.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the probe and dial with a damp cloth after each use. The sealed construction prevents moisture entering the mechanism, so no calibration or internal maintenance is required.
This model is listed in the LF catalogue under temperature measurement accessories for professional catering equipment.
