LF Snap-In Gasket 1480 x 640 mm for Professional Refrigeration

A snap-in gasket forms an airtight seal around the door of a refrigeration unit, keeping cold air inside and warm air out. The flexible strip presses against the cabinet frame when the door closes, blocking gaps that would otherwise let heat leak in and force the compressor to run longer. This type of gasket slides into a channel built into the door, so it can be replaced without tools or adhesives once the old one wears or cracks.

To fit the gasket, the operator aligns the new strip with the channel along the door edge, starting at one corner. The strip is pressed firmly into the channel, working around the perimeter until the entire length is seated. The door is then closed and opened several times to check that the gasket lies flat and compresses evenly against the frame. No trimming or adjustment is needed for the 1480 mm by 640 mm size.

The gasket is made in grey and measures 1480 mm along the top and bottom edges and 640 mm along the sides. It fits refrigeration doors designed for snap-in gaskets on Alpeninox, Electrolux Professional, EPMS, Whirlpool and Zanussi units. Custom lengths can be ordered to match non-standard door sizes.

Cleaning follows from the material: a damp cloth removes dust and spills; mild detergent lifts grease without damaging the surface. The gasket should be inspected regularly for splits or hardening, which signal that replacement is due.
