LF Snap-In Gasket 2000 mm for Professional Refrigeration Doors

A snap-in gasket creates an airtight seal between a refrigeration door and its cabinet by pressing a flexible lip into a channel moulded into the door frame. The lip is held in place by friction and by a small retaining bead that locks into the channel, eliminating the need for adhesive or screws.

To fit the gasket, the operator starts at one corner of the door, aligns the retaining bead with the channel, and presses the gasket into place with firm, even pressure. The process continues along the top, down the opposite side, and across the bottom, ensuring the gasket lies flat and the corners meet neatly. Once installed, the door is closed and the seal is checked for gaps by running a finger along the edge; any unevenness is corrected by repositioning the affected section.

The gasket is made from a flexible polymer compound coloured grey. Its cross-section measures 21 mm wide and 17.6 mm high, matching the standardised profile used by the listed equipment brands. The 2000 mm length suits full-height refrigeration doors commonly found in professional kitchens, where a single continuous seal is preferred to avoid weak points at joins.

The grey colour is chosen for its neutrality and resistance to visible staining from kitchen soils. The polymer material remains pliable at low temperatures, preventing cracking or hardening that could compromise the seal over time.
