A snap-in gasket creates an airtight seal between a refrigeration door and its cabinet without screws or adhesive. The flexible lip presses against the metal frame, blocking warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. To replace the gasket, the operator removes the old seal by pulling it free from the retaining channel. The new gasket is then pressed into the same channel, starting at one corner and working around the perimeter until the entire lip is seated.
