LF Snap-In Gasket 455 x 185 mm for Professional Refrigeration

A snap-in gasket creates an airtight seal between a refrigeration door and its cabinet by pressing a flexible lip into a channel moulded into the frame. The lip flexes against the channel walls, blocking warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. This method removes the need for adhesives or screws, allowing the gasket to be replaced without tools once the old seal has hardened or cracked.

To fit the gasket, the operator aligns the new seal with the channel on the door or panel, starting at one corner. Gentle pressure along the length snaps the lip into place; a slight tug confirms it is locked. The door is then closed to test the seal: any draught or condensation indicates a gap that must be corrected by re-seating the gasket.

The gasket is made in grey synthetic rubber, sized 455 mm long and 185 mm wide. It fits Infrico refrigeration units that use the same channel profile, ensuring compatibility with reach-in cabinets, under-counter fridges and display cases that carry the matching frame design.

Cleaning follows from the material: a damp cloth removes surface dirt, while a mild detergent solution lifts grease without damaging the rubber. The gasket should be inspected weekly for splits or stiffness, and replaced when it no longer flexes easily, to maintain the refrigeration cycle and prevent overloading the compressor.
