A snap-in gasket forms a continuous seal between a refrigeration door and its cabinet by clipping into a pre-formed channel around the door frame. The flexible lip compresses against the cabinet edge, blocking warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. This method keeps the internal temperature stable without permanent adhesive or mechanical fasteners, allowing quick replacement when the seal wears or splits.

To fit the gasket, the operator aligns the snap-in ridge with the channel on the door frame and presses it into place with even pressure along the full length. No tools are required; the gasket locks into the channel and stays secure during normal door operation. Once installed, the door closes against the gasket, creating an airtight barrier that maintains the refrigeration cycle and reduces energy consumption.
