LF Snap-In Gasket L1028 – 2 Metre Grey Replacement Seal

A snap-in gasket forms a flexible, air-tight barrier between the refrigeration cabinet and its door. The seal is pushed into a continuous channel around the door frame; its flexible lip presses against the cabinet body when the door closes, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. This maintains the set temperature inside the unit and reduces the compressor's running time, cutting energy use and extending the life of the appliance.

To replace the gasket, the operator removes the old seal by pulling it from the channel. The new gasket is aligned with the start of the channel and pressed firmly into place along the entire perimeter. No adhesive or tools are needed; the snap-in design holds the seal securely once it is seated. The door is then closed to check that the seal lies flat and even all the way round.

The gasket is made of grey elastomeric material, dimensioned 2000 mm long, 28.8 mm wide and 19.2 mm high. These measurements match the door perimeter of specified CRIOCABIN and EVERLASTING refrigeration units. The L-1028 profile ensures compatibility with the channel on those models.

Cleaning is carried out with a damp cloth and mild detergent; abrasives or solvents that could damage the elastomer are avoided. The seal should be inspected regularly for cracks or hardening, which indicate it needs replacement to maintain the unit's efficiency.
