A three-group espresso machine delivers simultaneous shots across a full worktop, keeping pace with high-volume service without queuing. The ES100 heats water in a 17-litre pressurised boiler, maintaining a steady temperature for extraction while the inbuilt pump draws fresh water through a balanced by-pass to ensure consistent pressure at each group. Dual steam wands let baristas texture milk alongside brewing, so drinks are finished in one pass.
Water enters the boiler through an electronic auto-fill system that senses level and refills automatically, protected by a safety thermostat that cuts power if the water runs low. A volumetric pump meters the exact dose for each shot, controlled by touch pads that store four preset volumes per group plus continuous flow for manual adjustment. The same system governs an automatic hot-water dispenser, programmable for tea service or pre-heating cups.
Operation begins with the machine switched on and the boiler brought to temperature. The barista selects a dose on the touch pad—from 0 to 3000 cc—or chooses continuous flow for manual control. Portafilters are locked into the groups, and the shot is started. While espresso flows, milk is steamed at the wand, and hot water is drawn from the dispenser as needed. Once the shot volume is reached, the pump stops automatically, and the portafilter is removed.
The body is constructed in polished stainless steel or coated in a durable paint finish. A volumetric pump with balanced by-pass ensures even pressure across all three groups, while touch pads allow precise dosing. The electronic auto-fill system prevents dry firing, and a programmable hot-water dispenser adds versatility. A safety thermostat provides overheat protection.
The 5.4 kW power rating requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling the load in a busy kitchen. A voltage of 220/240 V matches standard UK commercial supplies. The 17-litre boiler supports continuous brewing without frequent refills, while the 83 kg weight ensures stability on the worktop. Dimensions of 1035 mm wide, 535 mm deep and 500 mm high fit beneath standard overhead cupboards.
Cleaning involves daily backflushing of the groups with a blind basket and cleaning tablets, wiping steam wands after each use, and descaling the boiler at intervals determined by water hardness. The touch pads and hot-water dispenser are wiped with a damp cloth, and the stainless steel or painted surfaces are cleaned with non-abrasive detergents to maintain appearance.
Variants include electronic and semi-electronic control systems, allowing operators to choose between fully programmable dosing or manual adjustment. The machine is categorised under professional espresso equipment for high-volume environments.
