Automatic machine with programmable dosage. With 1 group. Electronic model
- : Magister Sistema Caffe
- Article number: BHS-STILO-ES60
A single-group espresso machine delivers consistent shots by forcing hot water through tightly packed coffee grounds under pressure. The ES60 heats water in its 4 L boiler, maintaining the temperature needed for extraction while the inbuilt volumetric pump generates the required pressure. This method ensures the rich flavour and crema expected from professional espresso.
The operator loads the portafilter with ground coffee, locks it into the group head, and selects a pre-set dose using the volumetric touch pads. The machine dispenses the programmed volume automatically, from a single shot to 3000 cc, or allows continuous brewing for larger quantities. The programmable hot water dispenser provides water at the correct temperature for tea or Americanos without manual adjustment. A steam wand mounted on the side froths milk for cappuccinos and lattes.
The body is available in polished stainless steel or with a paint coating, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen. The inbuilt volumetric pump includes a balanced by-pass to stabilise pressure during extraction. Volumetric touch pads control dosing, with four pre-set volumes per group plus a continuous brew option. An electronic auto-fill system refills the boiler automatically, protected by a sensor against running dry. A safety thermostat prevents overheating.
The 1.6 kW power rating indicates the load on the electrical circuit, requiring a dedicated 220/240 V supply typical of professional kitchens. The 47 kg weight means the machine is moved with a trolley or two people, and the 415 mm width fits on most worktops without crowding adjacent equipment. The 535 mm depth allows space for cups and accessories behind the machine, while the 500 mm height keeps the group head at a comfortable working level.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel or painted surfaces daily to remove coffee splashes and milk residue. The steam wand requires purging after each use to clear milk build-up. The group head and portafilter are rinsed and brushed to remove coffee oils, and the drip tray is emptied and cleaned regularly. The auto-fill system reduces the need for manual water top-ups, but the boiler should be descaled periodically to maintain performance.
The ES60 is available in electronic and semi-electronic versions, allowing operators to choose the level of automation. The catalogue places this model in the professional espresso machines category, designed for cafés, restaurants and catering operations requiring consistent, high-volume coffee service.
