A pot and pan washer removes baked-on residues and grease from large kitchenware that domestic dishwashers cannot handle. Hot water is pumped at high pressure through rotating arms, blasting food particles off trays, stockpots and baking sheets. The force of the spray, rather than manual scrubbing, does the work, so operators load the basket and return to find clean, sanitised items ready for the next service.

The MBM LOD503 follows this principle with a tank that holds the water, a heating element that brings it to temperature, and two 2.7 kW pumps that drive the spray arms. Adjustable cycles of two, four, six or eight minutes let the operator match the wash time to the soil level, balancing speed and water use. A partial drain system refreshes the tank between loads without emptying it completely, so the next cycle starts with warm water already in place.

To operate the machine, the user slides the basket into the chamber, closes the door and selects the cycle length. Detergent and rinse aid are added automatically from built-in dispensers. Once the programme finishes, the drain pump removes the dirty water and the door can be opened. The self-cleaning cycle flushes the interior and spray arms, reducing manual maintenance.
