An electric grill heats a solid metal plate from below, transferring energy directly to the food without flames or hot air currents. The plate's mass holds heat steadily, so searing and grilling happen at a constant temperature across the surface. A chrome finish reflects radiant heat back into the food, reducing the energy lost to the room and keeping the kitchen cooler while the grill is in use.

The MAGISTRA PLUS 700 is a 70 cm counter-top unit. The operator lowers food onto the smooth chrome-plated plate, which is thick enough to prevent hot spots. A removable stainless steel basin beneath catches grease and liquids, so the worktop stays clean during service. After cooking, the basin lifts out for emptying and washing, while the chrome surface can be wiped down without scrubbing between different foods.

The grill is built on a 1 mm AISI 18/10 stainless steel worktop that aligns flush with adjacent equipment. Rounded front corners reduce sharp edges, and the 400 mm depth fits standard worktop depths. Two independent heating elements under the plate allow separate temperature zones, so one side can sear meat while the other keeps vegetables warm.

A three-phase 400 V supply delivers the 4 kW load, matching the circuit used by most commercial kitchen equipment. The 63 kg weight keeps the unit stable on the worktop without anchoring, yet it can still be moved by two people when the kitchen layout changes.

Cleaning is limited to the parts the grill exposes: the chrome plate is wiped with a cloth, the stainless steel basin is washed in a sink, and the worktop around the grill is cleaned with standard kitchen sanitiser. No internal disassembly is required for daily upkeep.
