MBM MAGISTRA PLUS 700 Gas Grill with Smooth Chrome Plate

A gas grill with a smooth chrome cooking plate heats food directly on its polished surface, transferring energy from the burners beneath. The chrome finish reflects radiant heat back into the food while reducing heat loss into the kitchen, keeping the worktop cooler and the environment more comfortable. Because the plate does not absorb flavours or moisture, different foods can be cooked in sequence without cross-contamination, eliminating the need to clean the plate between batches.

The operator lights the grill, sets the flame on the control knobs for each independent burner, and waits for the plate to reach temperature. Food is placed directly on the smooth surface, turned as needed, and removed once cooked. A removable stainless steel basin beneath the plate collects grease and juices, simplifying disposal and cleaning.

The 15 mm thick smooth steel plate with chrome finish sits on a 1 mm worktop of AISI 18/10 stainless steel, ensuring durability and hygiene. Rounded front corners prevent snagging, and the basin holds up to 2 litres of grease. Independent gas burners allow different cooking zones across the 70 cm width, so one side can sear while the other keeps food warm.

A 5.5 kW gas input requires a dedicated gas line capable of supplying the full load without pressure drop, ensuring consistent heat across the plate. The 400 mm depth, 714 mm width and 850 mm height fit standard worktop layouts, while the 63 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people.

The chrome plate resists sticking and discolouration, reducing scrubbing time. The removable basin is washed separately, and the stainless steel worktop wipes clean with standard kitchen sanitiser. No additional maintenance is required beyond routine burner checks and gas safety inspections.
