MBM PCRA Stainless Steel Waste Container with Pedal

A pedal-operated waste container keeps hands free while food waste, packaging or kitchen refuse is dropped into a sealed bin. The lid lifts when the operator presses the pedal with a foot, then closes automatically to contain odours and prevent pests. Wheels allow the unit to be rolled across the floor without lifting, so it can be positioned under a worktop, beside a prep station or near a dish-washing area where space is tight. The container opens and closes without touching the lid, reducing cross-contamination between raw ingredients, cooked food and cleaning chemicals. A pedal mechanism is built into the base; when the pedal is pressed, a linkage raises the lid and holds it open until the pedal is released. The lid then falls back under its own weight, sealing the top of the container. To use the MBM PCRA, roll the container to the required spot. Press the pedal to open the lid, deposit waste, then release the pedal to close it. When the container is full, wheel it to the waste disposal point, open the lid, tip the contents into a larger bin or compactor, and return the container to service. The MBM PCRA is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion from food acids, cleaning agents and moisture. The surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and sanitiser without rusting or staining. The container has a circular footprint of 450 mm diameter and stands 605 mm high, allowing it to fit under most worktops or in narrow gaps between kitchen equipment. A 75 litre capacity holds a full shift's waste from a small to medium kitchen without needing frequent emptying. The wheels allow the container to be moved easily when full, so it can be taken to the waste area rather than carrying bags across the kitchen. Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces inside and out with a damp cloth and kitchen sanitiser. The pedal mechanism should be checked periodically to ensure it moves freely and returns the lid to a closed position without sticking. The seamless stainless steel body lifts off the base in one motion, letting you rinse every surface without tools.
