Electronic mixer operated by an infrared sensor, powered by mains supply 230 V.
An electronic faucet that delivers water only when needed, eliminating the need to touch the tap with soiled hands. The sensor detects motion beneath the spout and opens the valve for a preset interval, then closes it automatically. This method prevents cross-contamination between users and reduces water waste in busy kitchens.
The faucet supplies water for three seconds each time the sensor is triggered. If the sensor remains activated continuously, the flow stops after thirteen seconds as a safeguard against accidental or deliberate flooding. Once every twenty-four hours after the last use, the tap runs a brief automatic flush to clear stagnant water from the line, lowering the risk of Legionella bacteria growth.
A side lever adjusts the water temperature mechanically. The operator sets the desired temperature once and the electronic valve then delivers water at that temperature each time the sensor is triggered, without further manual adjustment.
The faucet is designed for wall or worktop mounting above sinks in catering environments. Its construction includes anti-vandal protection to withstand repeated use in public or high-traffic areas. No external power supply is required beyond the standard water line, making installation straightforward in existing plumbing setups.
Cleaning involves wiping the sensor window and spout with a damp cloth to remove grease or residue. The automatic flush programme reduces the need for manual descaling, but periodic inspection of the mechanical temperature lever ensures smooth operation over time.
