MONOLITH ERA308 Mini Wall-Mounted Pre-Rinse Shower Mixer

A pre-rinse shower mixer delivers a targeted jet of water to loosen food debris from pots, pans and utensils before they enter the wash cycle. Hot and cold supplies feed a single lever mixer, which blends the water to the chosen temperature and directs it through a flexible hose to a hand-held shower head. The swinging spout allows the operator to rinse items held over a sink or tray without moving the entire unit, while the compact design suits tight worktop layouts where space is limited.

The operator turns the clinical lever to start the flow and adjusts the temperature by tilting the same lever forward or back. The hand shower is held over the item, and the jet dislodges residue with minimal water use. When finished, the lever is returned to the off position, stopping the flow and preventing accidental scalds or leaks.

Construction consists of a wall-mounted mixer body with two inlet holes spaced 155 mm apart, allowing ±20 mm tolerance for installation. A PA6 plastic clinical lever provides a hygienic, easy-to-clean control surface. The swinging spout measures 20 mm in diameter and extends 250 mm from the mixer, while the flexible hose reaches 351 mm from the wall. The entire unit stands 580 mm high, keeping the hand shower within comfortable reach without occupying valuable worktop space.

The two-hole fixing requires a standardised pipe centre distance, simplifying retrofit into existing plumbing. The compact height and swinging spout reduce the footprint, making it practical for small sculleries or prep areas where larger units would obstruct workflow.

Cleaning involves wiping the PA6 lever and spout with a damp cloth to remove water marks or food splashes. The hand shower head can be detached for thorough rinsing if lime scale builds up, though the entry does not specify a quick-release mechanism.
